You knew I would start this...this topic is for my 2nd favorite show, Community on NBC. It's a 30 minute sitcom about a bunch of random misfits who are going to community college. They're all in the same Spanish class and they form a study group and become friend's. There are only two more episodes this season I think, but it's been renewed for a second season so you should try it and catch up over the break.

Anyone else watching this? I know roughseas does. If she ever comes over here we can discuss.

What did you all think of last night's community, Beginner Pottery? I was laughing so hard and I didn't watch it til 2:30 in the morning! Abed's voice over and the "no ghosting" rule were hilarious! Plus, being at a community college right now, I can just imagine the crazy looks if a class was "sailing" in the parking lot. Although, being in Kansas, that's probably what our sailing classes would have to do Now I want to see if they offer sailing classes

I loved the crack on voice overs! It totally made me think of Burn Notice, although BN doesn't use voice overs the same way Abed was using them. It was one of my favorite episodes ever I think. At first I thought the sailing class stuff was going to be lame but then it turn into EPIC! Way to go Admiral Shirley! And OMG Señor Chang!! Ha! And little kid Jeff! And the pottery savant guy, ha! And it cracked me up that the sailing teacher had a no "King of the World" sign like the pottery teacher had a no "ghosting" sign. Heee.

"It landed on that Hyndai...I mean, mermaid's car." Loved it.

I agree. I thought the sailing thing was going to be so stupid, but it was so hilarious! What a great episode, definitely one of my favs

What is your fave?

I think mine would be "Environmental Science" when Abed and Troy are doing that science experiement with the rat and Señor Chang is fighting with his wife and there's that great musical montage at the end with the Irish band and Señor Chang and his wife dancing and Abed and Troy sing "Somewhere Out There" to their rat. That's my most favoritest part of the entire season. I also really liked the Halloween and Christmas episodes.

Sadly, I don't watch this show close enough to know the episode names, but I do remember the Environmental Science one you are talking about and I loved that one!

I just watched this weeks (pottery) one again. It was hubby's first airing and he thought it was hilarious too

ANYWAY I started watching last thursday's episode, but then I had to leave and I haven't seen it yet!! What was it about?

The pottery and sailing episode??? *flails* You have to go finish watching crazy girl. It's only like 22 minutes. You don't have 22 minutes to watch the awesomeness. The group pick up some "easy A" classes before the drop/add deadline. Half of them take beginning pottery and half take a sailing class...wacky adventure ensues!
